This choice is justified for a short stay of one day, when the patient plans to be discharged the next morning, and allows you to direct the budget to the operation itself and high-quality consumables.
What is included in a bed day
A bed-day is not just a place in a ward. This includes meals, prescribed medications, dressings and procedures, as well as 24-hour supervision by a nurse and daily examination by the attending physician.
The room category determines the level of comfort: the number of beds, the presence of a private bathroom, TV and additional amenities. The scope of medical care is the same for all categories; the household component differs.
When is a hospital needed?
