How to remove wax plug
The doctor examines the ear with an otoscope to ensure the integrity of the eardrum; if it is perforated, rinsing is contraindicated. Then, under visual control, the plug is washed out with a stream of warm solution. If it is dense, it is recommended to instill softening drops the day before. Cotton swabs cannot be used to remove wax: they compact the plug and push it deeper.
Why are ENT procedures needed?

How many procedures are needed?
The standard course is from 3 to 7 procedures every other day. For chronic processes, courses are repeated 1–2 times a year. Improvement is usually felt after the first or second procedure, but you should not interrupt the course: incomplete treatment often ends in a return of symptoms.
