Why is anemization necessary?
With sinusitis, swelling blocks the anastomosis - a narrow channel through which the sinus communicates with the nasal cavity. While it is closed, the pus does not drain and the treatment does not work. The doctor injects the turunda with the drug exactly into the area of the anastomosis, and does not just bury it in the nose: targeted action is more effective and requires a smaller dose. Anemization often precedes Proetz irrigation or catheterization of the auditory tube.
Why are ENT procedures needed?
Many diseases of the ear, nose and throat are treated not only with pills: the medicine must be delivered directly to the source - to the sinus, to the tonsil lacuna, to the auditory tube. This is exactly what ENT manipulations do.
A course of procedures often allows you to do without antibiotics or sinus puncture, and in chronic forms, it can significantly increase the period of remission.

How many procedures are needed?
The standard course is from 3 to 7 procedures every other day. For chronic processes, courses are repeated 1–2 times a year. Improvement is usually felt after the first or second procedure, but you should not interrupt the course: incomplete treatment often ends in a return of symptoms.
