Everything important at once
The panel collects the main controllable factors of pregnancy: hereditary thrombophilias (prophylaxis with heparins according to indications), folate status (active forms), chromosome set (IVF/PGT strategy if found), basic hemostasis. Indicated for couples with pregnancy losses, before IVF, and with familial thrombosis. The result is a personal preparation plan from a fertility specialist, and not general advice.
When is it appointed?
- two or more miscarriages - karyotypes of the couple;
- infertility of unknown origin, severe spermogram abnormalities;
- planning pregnancy with a complicated medical history;
- high homocysteine - genetics of the folate cycle;
- comprehensive pre-gravid preparation.
Genetics of reproduction
Part of pregnancy losses and infertility is recorded in chromosomes and genes: balanced translocations in parents (karyotype), polymorphisms of the folate cycle and thrombophilia affect gestation - and almost all of this is manageable with a known status: from preparation with folates in active form to IVF with preimplantation testing. Genetic tests are taken once in a lifetime and consciously change the couple’s strategy.
