Six answers from one test tube
The panel is more cost-effective than individual tests and covers typical tasks: admission to surgery and anesthesia, monitoring during long-term medication use, annual check-up, initial search for the cause of weakness and nausea. Deviations immediately direct further examination: growth of ALT - hepatic route (hepatitis, ultrasound), creatinine - renal (GFR, nephrologist), glucose - diabetic (HbA1c).

What is blood biochemistry
Biochemical tests measure organ function through molecules in the serum: liver enzymes (ALT/AST) “leak” when cells are damaged, bilirubin reflects bile metabolism, creatinine and urea - kidney filtration, glucose - carbohydrate metabolism. A panel of six key indicators closes the basic check; individual tests are selected in a targeted manner. Strictly on an empty stomach - otherwise some of the indicators will be distorted.
