One-time session
One procedure is appropriate in the first days after surgery to relieve swelling, in case of a bruise or sprain, and also to assess tolerance before the course. The doctor places the inductors over the treatment area; there is practically no sensation. For chronic prostatitis, arthrosis and other long-term conditions, a single exposure gives only a short-term effect - a course is prescribed.
Indications
- chronic prostatitis, cystitis, pyelonephritis without exacerbation - anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effect;
- postoperative period (after operations on the scrotum, kidneys, bladder) - accelerated healing, reduced swelling;
- arthrosis, arthritis, osteochondrosis, injuries, fractures - pain relief and recovery;
- erectile dysfunction of vascular origin as a component of treatment;
- chronic inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs in women.
Contraindications
- malignant tumors and suspicion of them in the affected area;
- acute infections with fever, purulent processes before drainage;
- bleeding and tendency to it;
- pacemaker (for electro- and magnetic therapy), metal implants in the treatment area;
- pregnancy (to affect the pelvic and abdominal area);
- decompensated heart disease, epilepsy (individually).
How it works
The low-frequency magnetic field improves microcirculation, reduces swelling and inflammation, accelerates tissue regeneration and has a mild analgesic and sedative effect. The method is well tolerated by elderly patients and people with concomitant diseases, does not cause heating and is used even with metal implants outside the affected area (except for a pacemaker). Course of 5–10 procedures.
