Course of 5 procedures
The biostimulating effect of the laser increases from session to session: microcirculation improves, healing accelerates, pain and swelling decrease. Five procedures are a standard course after outpatient operations and for exacerbation of chronic prostatitis; for chronic conditions, the course is extended to 10–12 sessions and repeated after 1–2 months. Combined with magnetotherapy, prostate massage and medications.
Indications
- chronic prostatitis, urethritis, cystitis without exacerbation;
- postoperative wounds, fistulas, long-term non-healing wounds - stimulation of healing;
- erectile dysfunction as a component of treatment, Peyronie's disease;
- arthrosis, arthritis, tendinitis, neuritis, back pain;
- chronic epididymitis, orchitis in the subsiding stage.
Contraindications
- malignant tumors and suspicion of them in the affected area;
- acute infections with fever, purulent processes before drainage;
- bleeding and tendency to it;
- pacemaker (for electro- and magnetic therapy), metal implants in the treatment area;
- pregnancy (to affect the pelvic and abdominal area);
- decompensated heart disease, epilepsy (individually).
How it works
Low-intensity laser radiation stimulates cellular metabolism and microcirculation, accelerates tissue regeneration, has anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous and analgesic effects, and increases local immunity. The procedure is painless and does not heat the tissue. In urology, laser therapy is one of the main physiotherapy methods for chronic prostatitis and for rapid healing after operations; course 5–10 procedures.
