Absorbable treatment
Lidase breaks down hyaluronic acid, the basis of scar and adhesive tissue, making it loose and stretchable; electrophoresis delivers the enzyme exactly to the fibrosis zone and creates its depot. It is used for Peyronie's disease in the acute phase (slows down the growth of plaque), after operations on the urethra and scrotum to prevent cicatricial narrowing, for chronic prostatitis with compactions, adhesions of the fallopian tubes. The effect is assessed after the full course; in case of severe fibrosis, the course is repeated after 1–2 months.
Indications
- chronic prostatitis, vesiculitis - anti-inflammatory and absorbable effect;
- scars, adhesions, sclerosis (lidaza), Peyronie's disease, urethral strictures after surgery;
- chronic inflammatory diseases of the appendages and pelvic adhesions (lidasis);
- arthrosis, arthritis, tendonitis, back pain (dimexide, anti-inflammatory);
- postoperative infiltrates.
Contraindications
- malignant tumors and suspicion of them in the affected area;
- acute infections with fever, purulent processes before drainage;
- bleeding and tendency to it;
- pacemaker (for electro- and magnetic therapy), metal implants in the treatment area;
- pregnancy (to affect the pelvic and abdominal area);
- decompensated heart disease, epilepsy (individually).
How it works
Direct current transports drug ions through the skin into deep tissues, where they accumulate and act for a long time - this achieves a high local concentration without systemic side effects. Lidaza (hyaluronidase) softens and resolves scars and adhesions; Dimexide has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect and enhances the penetration of other drugs. The current itself further improves blood flow. Course of 8–10 procedures.
