Why this set
A complete blood count shows hemoglobin level, platelet count and signs of inflammation - all three parameters directly affect the safety of the intervention and the decision to perform it. Tests for blood-contact infections are necessary both for the patient and for organizing the work of the operating room: when an infection is detected, additional epidemiological safety measures are applied. The express format allows you to get results on the same day of treatment, so the examination and procedure can often be completed in one visit. Results are valid for a limited time - usually 10-14 days.
Why is knitwear selected by a doctor?
Compression hosiery is a therapeutic product, not an accessory. Its action is based on a precisely calculated pressure gradient: maximum at the ankle and decreasing upward. This gradient only works if the size is chosen correctly.
The product “by eye” either does not create the necessary pressure and is useless, or it tightens and impairs blood circulation. In addition, with concomitant arterial insufficiency, compression is contraindicated - only a doctor can evaluate this.
Compression classes
- preventive – during long flights, standing work, pregnancy
- Class 1 - initial manifestations, heaviness and swelling in the evening, prevention
- Class 2 - severe varicose veins, condition after surgery and sclerotherapy
- Class 3 - chronic venous insufficiency, trophic disorders, lymphedema
How to wear it correctly
Knitwear is put on in the morning without getting out of bed, while swelling is minimal, and removed before bed. Wash by hand at a temperature no higher than 40 degrees, do not wring or dry on a radiator - high temperature destroys elastic fibers. With proper care, the product retains its healing properties for about six months.
