Average degree
The second degree involves a longer-lasting process with initial changes: thickening of the fallopian tubes, single adhesions, signs of chronic endometritis according to ultrasound. The program is expanding - absorbable drugs and more intensive physiotherapy aimed at preventing the formation of adhesions are added to antibacterial and anti-inflammatory therapy. Seven days are necessary for the impact to cover all components of the process. Upon completion of the course, a control ultrasound is performed to determine the need for a second course.
Why is the treatment a course?
Chronic inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs and infertility are not treated with a single prescription. Consistent effects are required over several days: suppressing infection, relieving inflammation, improving blood circulation in tissues and resolving adhesive changes.
The course format allows you to carry out all components of treatment under the supervision of a physician, assessing tolerability and adjusting the program along the way.
What's included in the course
- antibacterial and anti-inflammatory therapy based on culture results
- intravenous and intramuscular administration of drugs
- local procedures - sanitation, instillations
- physiotherapy to improve blood circulation and resolve adhesions
- control examinations and ultrasound in dynamics
What does the duration depend on?
The duration of the course is determined by the severity of the process: for newly diagnosed inflammation, five days are enough; for long-term inflammation with the formation of adhesions, ten or more are required. The degree is determined by examination, ultrasound and laboratory tests before treatment.
