Superobesity
In patients weighing 180+ kg, every element is thought out: preoperative weight loss of 5–10% on a hardware program and diet reduces liver volume and the risks of anesthesia; intraoperatively, elongated trocars and staplers with reinforced cassettes are used; after surgery - early activation, CPAP, anticoagulants, monitoring in the ICU. After 12–18 months, if necessary, the second stage (bypass surgery) is performed with lower risks.
