How does the procedure work?
After applying an anesthetic cream and blocking the nerves of the penis, the andrologist, using a thin cannula, injects 1-3 ml of dense filler into the subcutaneous layer of the glans through 2-4 points, evenly distributing it with a massage around the circumference and apex, avoiding the urethra and coronary sulcus. The result is visible immediately; slight swelling subsides in 3–5 days. Sexual activity is excluded for 2 weeks, bathhouse and sauna for 1 week. After 2–4 weeks, a follow-up examination with correction if necessary. For lasting results, the procedure is repeated after 1–1.5 years.
Why is filler injected into the head?
The introduction of hyaluronic acid increases the volume and diameter of the head by 30–50%, gives it a more pronounced shape and reduces excess sensitivity due to the “cushion” between the skin and nerve endings - this is used for premature ejaculation as a reversible alternative to denervation. The effect lasts 12–18 months, then the drug dissolves and the procedure can be repeated. The corpora cavernosa and erection are not affected.
Security
Certified dense fillers based on stabilized hyaluronic acid are used - the same class as in aesthetic medicine. Complications are rare: swelling and bruising for 3–5 days, unevenness corrected by massage or hyaluronidase. The procedure is not performed for skin inflammation, active herpes, or autoimmune diseases.
