Below the belt - without anesthesia
The patient breathes on his own, the lungs and heart are not loaded. Ventilation is the method of choice for pulmonary and cardiac restrictions; Post-operative pain is milder (the anesthetic is still working). The injection is performed after local anesthesia of the skin and is felt as pressure. After the operation, lie down for several hours and drink plenty of fluids; sensitivity returns gradually with tingling - this is the norm.
Indications
- operations of any complexity - from outpatient to multi-hour;
- diagnostic procedures requiring immobility and comfort (endoscopy, hysteroscopy);
- labor pain relief and postoperative analgesia (epidural);
- patients with concomitant diseases - an individual plan.
Safety of modern anesthesia
The risk of anesthesia today is minimal and is determined mainly by the patient’s condition, and not by “anesthesia” as such: examination by an anesthesiologist before surgery (questionnaire, tests, ECG), selection of the optimal method, modern short-acting drugs and continuous monitoring make the process manageable. Regional methods (spinal/epidural) allow one to avoid general anesthesia where it is not needed - the patient breathes on his own and wakes up without a “heavy head.” Prices according to the price list correspond to the type of anesthesia and are included in the concept of “turnkey operation” in most positions.
