In 1975 he successfully graduated from the medical faculty of the Tashkent State Medical Institute. From 1975 to 1977 he completed clinical residency at the Moscow Research Institute of Eye Diseases named after. Helmholtz. From 1977 to 1980 he was a graduate student at the Moscow Research Institute. Helmholtz, where he successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis. From 1983 to 1991, he headed the Department of Ophthalmology at the Andijan Medical Institute. From 1991 to 2005, he headed the Department of Ophthalmology at Tashkent State Medical Institute No. 1. From 1991 to 2002 he was the Chief Ophthalmologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since 2000, he has been the head of the Center for Laser Eye Microsurgery "Shifo-Nur Ko'z". Under his leadership, such advanced technologies as phacoemulsification of cataracts and laser correction of myopia and astigmatism were introduced for the first time in the Republic. Khudaiberdiev Alisher Rakhimovich trained 9 candidates of science, published more than 90 scientific papers, 3 monographs. Participated in congresses, symposiums, conferences: Germany, Italy, France, South. Korea, Finland, Greece, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey, England, Russia, etc.
