Ophthalmologist Khodzhaev Dilshodhuzha Khamidullaevich

Candidate of Medical Sciences, ophthalmologist of the highest category, reconstructive plastic surgeon, head of the department of ophthalmoplastic and reconstructive surgery and eye prosthetics of the Shifo-Nur Ko'z center, assistant of the Department of Ophthalmology of the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Studies.



He graduated with honors from the medical faculty of the Tashkent State Medical Institute No. 2 in 1996. In 1998, he successfully completed clinical residency at the Department of Ophthalmology of the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Studies (Prof. Kamilov Kh.M.). From 1998 to 2006, he worked at the Clinical Ophthalmological Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the ophthalmoplasty department, as a resident and then as a head.



He completed an internship at the clinic of the All-Russian Center for Eye and Plastic Surgery “ALLOPLANT” (Ufa, Russia) under the guidance of Professor A.Yu. Salikhov. In 2006, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic “Improving surgical methods for the treatment of entropion.”



In 2008, he completed an internship at the Federal State Institution “Moscow Research Institute of Eye Diseases named after. Helmholtz Rosmedtekhnologii" under the program "Ophthalmic Oncology" under the guidance of Professor S. V. Sahakyan.



In 2010, he completed an intensive specialization course at the CORL clinic (Kazan, Russia), which is the training base of the Center for Endoscopic Surgery in the cycle “Endoscopic Rhinosinus Surgery” under the guidance of Professor V. N. Krasnozhen. Today, the clinic has established endonasal methods of surgical treatment of dacryocystitis. He actively collaborates with specialists from the Ekaterinburg Center of the MNTK “Eye Microsurgery”, doctors V. A. Obodov and M. I. Shlyakhtov, who are recognized specialists in the field of surgery of the adnexal apparatus of the visual organ.

D. Kh. Khodzhaev is the author of more than 30 scientific publications, 3 patents and methodological recommendations. Currently working on his doctoral dissertation.



He is a member of the European Society of Ophthalmoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and takes part in its conferences.
