In the multidisciplinary treatment and diagnostic center VITAMEDMEDICAL, stress functional studies are widely used to assess the reserve capabilities of the cardiovascular system and its hidden diseases.

Stress echocardiography (Stress EchoCG) is a combination of two-dimensional echocardiography with physical or pharmacological stress.

Indications for Stress EchoCG:

Diagnosis of coronary heart disease

Assessment of prognosis and risk stratification in patients with an established diagnosis (for example, after myocardial infarction)

Preoperative risk assessment

Identifying possible cardiac causes of dyspnea on exertion

Evaluation of patients during myocardial revascularization

Determination of ischemia localization

Assessment of the severity of valve stenosis

The VITAMEDMEDICAL clinic uses a premium device SIEMENSAcusonSC 2000 - a high-class digital ultrasound device (the number of channels is not less than 512, the presence of digital stress echocardiography software, cine loops, the ability to split the screen into at least 4 parts)

To conduct Stress EchoCG with physical activity, expert class equipment is also used - ST80i StressTestingSystem, Phillips (Netherlands).
