In modern medicine, laboratory tests occupy one of the leading places among other diagnostic methods. Laboratory diagnostics are used to establish a diagnosis, characterize the severity and duration of the disease, prognosis, and also to monitor the effectiveness of treatment.
The laboratory of the VITAMED MEDICAL clinic has a wide range of services and conducts about 500 types of various studies.
This includes all the main types of studies that doctors usually prescribe:
General clinical examinations (general blood test, urine, stool, coagulogram, microscopy of gynecological and urological tests).
Biochemical blood tests (basic complex, kidney, liver tests).

Drug monitoring to adjust drug dosage:
- tacrolimus (immunosuppressant),
- valproic acid (an anticonvulsant drug).
Study of platelet aggregation function:
- screening (determining the function of von Willebrand factor - collagen-epinephrine);
- the influence of acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin effect - collagen-ADP);
- Determining the presence of P2Y12 platelet receptor blockade in patients undergoing treatment with P2Y12 antagonists.
Determination of specific proteins:
- ACCP (Antibodies to cyclic citrullinated peptide) is a marker of rheumatoid arthritis;
- homocysteine - early detection of predisposition to the development of atherosclerosis, osteoporosis, Alzheimer's disease, stroke;
- brain natriuretic peptide is a marker of heart failure;
- troponin, myoglobin, creatine kinase MB – markers of myocardial infarction;
- D Pyrilinx in urine is an early marker of osteoporosis.
Diagnosis of diabetes mellitus:
- glycated hemoglobin,
- insulin, insulin
- microalbumin/creatinine in urine,
- diagnosis of anemia,
- folic acid,
- ferritin, vitamin B 12,
- reticulocytes.
Pregnancy monitoring:
- quantitative hCG (total and free),

Equipment and technologies
For blood collection, the laboratory of the VITAMED MEDICAL clinic uses modern disposable vacuum systems that guarantee safety.
Strict adherence to all algorithms of the preanalytical stage is the basis for obtaining high-quality research results.
All samples have a unique barcode, which is assigned at the place where the biomaterial is taken, which avoids errors associated with sample identification. After arriving at the laboratory, all samples are sorted and sent to work sites.
The laboratory of the VITAMED MEDICAL clinic is equipped with modern equipment from European manufacturers SIEMENS and CARL ZEISS.
All stages of research performed on automatic analyzers, including the delivery of results, are controlled by a laboratory information system (LIS). When using semi-automatic and manual techniques (microscopy), the technology of double checking the result by different employees is used.
Original reagents and consumables are used, registered in Uzbekistan from the world's leading manufacturers, which guarantees high accuracy and reliability of research results.
A system of daily intra-laboratory and planned inter-laboratory quality control has been introduced. Participation in the International System of External Quality Assessment CDC.
The finished result goes through several stages of validation: automatic (LIS), technical and clinical, at which laboratory doctors, if the analysis indicators are critical, can urgently contact the attending physician to clarify the patient’s medical history and clinical picture.
A report on the research results is issued in an original style (graphic or tabular version) with a description of the methodology and equipment used. The results can be sent to the patient's email or printed out in the clinic.
