Tension in the muscles and decreased blood circulation are problems that can be solved with one of the inexpensive medicines available today - the Indian ointment "Fast Relief". Its calming and softening effect will eliminate pain symptoms and help cope with the discomfort of a number of diseases. An ointment with a pronounced menthol odor is classified as a preparation based on salicylic acid. The medicine is used only externally and is characterized by rapid action.
 
Composition
“Fast Relief” ointment contains active medicinal ingredients – camphor (3 grams); menthol (10 grams); thymol (0.2 grams); clove (0.3 grams), eucalyptus (3.5 grams) and turpentine oil (1 gram); methyl salicylate (20 grams). In small doses, the drug contains mineral oil, ozokerite, paraffin, microcrystalline wax and red dye SI 26100.
 
Medicinal properties
Relaxation of tense muscle tissue and improvement of blood circulation is possible thanks to the active components of the ointment. The substances instantly reach the damaged areas and provide oxygen access to them.
 
Camphor relieves pain in cases of arthritis, tendinitis and myositis. Eucalyptus and terpine oils warm rheumatism and neuralgia, stimulate skin receptors and are known for antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Wintergreen and clove oils, thymol and methyl salicylate have an analgesic effect. Menthol gives a feeling of slight cooling and slight burning when applied to the skin. The weak antiseptic effect of the component also has a beneficial effect on the body in combination with other ingredients.
 
Indications for use
The ointment is used to reduce muscle itching and signs of inflammation of the joints and muscles. "Fast Relief" is prescribed for inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the joints accompanied by swelling and severe pain. The drug is used in the following clinical cases:
 
Arthritis – activates recovery processes and optimizes joint function
Cervicobrachial syndrome – prevents the development of various inflammations of the cervical spine, stimulates blood circulation
Osteoarthritis – slows down degenerative processes
Lumbosacral pain – relieves signs of rheumatic lesions, osteochondrosis and lumbago
Ankylosing spondylitis – eliminates pain and inflammation of intervertebral joints
Shoulder pain syndrome – relief of signs of periarthrosis, muscle and joint pain
Injuries – eliminates sharp pain from bruises, sprains, damaged ligaments and tendons.
 
Release form and method of application
The medicine is produced in the form of an ointment of uniform concentration with a specific aroma of a light pink hue. The product is packaged in tubes of 3, 12, 25 and 50 grams and packed in a cardboard box with one item in each.
 
The ointment is prescribed only to adults and children over 12 years of age. It is applied in a thin layer to the painful areas and rubbed until the drug is completely absorbed. Use no more than two to three times a day. The course of treatment is no more than ten days of use.
 
Traditionally, the medicine is not recommended for use by pregnant women and during breastfeeding. Only in cases of benefit for the child and mother is the drug prescribed according to the instructions and under the supervision of a specialist.
 
Contraindications
The drug is known for significantly fewer contraindications than similar drugs. These include the following features of the human body:
 
Susceptibility to the components of the product, expressed by allergic reactions
The presence of external injuries and diseases of the dermis - in the affected areas the medicine causes irritation and will make it difficult to tighten the skin tissue
Bronchial asthma and inflammation of the nasal membranes - medication can cause an attack
Existing significant kidney and liver diseases - the metabolism of the components of the ointment is possible only through these organs, and a large load on them is fraught with a deterioration in the general condition
Whooping cough - the medicine can complicate the clinical picture and its use is fraught with the infection developing into a dangerous form of worsening pneumonia
Age up to 12 years, since there is no information about the action of “Fast Relief” during this age period.
Side effects and precautions
Side effects from Fast Relief ointment are possible only if used together with other medications, which is expressed by an allergic reaction to any substances of the drug. Avoid getting the product into the eye sockets and oral cavity. A negative reaction is characterized by:

Irrational use of Fast Relief can lead to increased blood clotting, so do not overuse it frequently. No cases of ointment overdose have been identified at present.
