What eye color tells you about your health
Eyes perfectly convey your mood. But modern research shows that eye color is also an indicator of your health and predisposition to certain diseases.
Brown eyes
The darker your iris, the higher the level of protection against ultraviolet rays you were born with. This doesn't mean you can spend days in the sun. But you are undoubtedly less prone to serious skin diseases such as cancer and vitiligo (a pigmentation disorder), as well as cataracts. However, people with brown eyes are more sensitive to pain (especially during childbirth) than people with other iris colors. Brown-eyed people are more susceptible to nervous breakdowns.
Green and dark gray eyes
Green-eyed people tolerate pain better (especially during childbirth) and are less susceptible to depression and nervous breakdowns. But they are prone to eye diseases. Your innate level of UV protection is lower than that of brown-eyed people. Therefore, you need stronger sun protection.
Blue and light gray eyes
Like green-eyed people, people with blue and light gray eyes tolerate pain quite easily, are not subject to frequent depression and apathy, and need effective skin protection from ultraviolet radiation.
And one more thing: according to research, blue-eyed people are more susceptible to alcohol addiction than others. However, scientists warn that this assumption needs further study.
