15 healthy habits for losing weight

For those who don’t want to go on grueling diets and spend many hours in fitness centers, I offer a list of healthy habits for losing weight. Don’t try to implement these habits all at once, but gradually, adding 1-3 at a time. By following these rules, you can not only adjust your weight, but also maintain your figure in optimal shape.

About 3-6 weeks are enough for any rule performed daily to form a habit. And if we do something with pleasure, without straining, as if by itself, and at the same time we lose weight - this is the dream of everyone who watches their figure.

1. Get enough sleep. Did you know that you can lose weight even while sleeping? Lack of sleep disrupts the production of the hunger hormone (ghrelin), and then the signal of saturation to the brain arrives late. According to research, it has been found that a person who is chronically sleep-deprived consumes 40 percent more calories than required.

2. Drink plenty of water.

3. Don't make a cult out of food. There are pleasures not only in the plate in the kitchen, but everywhere around you, in the world around you. Look for them.

4. Leave the table feeling a little hungry.

5. Avoid short-term diets. They are ineffective, if only due to the fact that after they are finished, the weight returns with additional kilograms. In addition, such diets do not bring any pleasure, but turn life into a nightmare.

6. Love and respect yourself and your body.

7. Play sports. These can be some simple exercises performed every day, sometimes even walking for an hour is enough to look good and improve your well-being. Move, move as much as possible.

8. Don't envy models in glossy magazines. You don't know what sacrifices and restrictions they had to make to look like that. Plus, don’t forget the wonders of Photoshop...

9. Buy nice clothes for yourself. Avoid clothing that is designed to hide your figure. This does not mean that you need to wear everything tight, there is no need for extremes. But you should like the clothes you wear. After all, do you remember the point about loving yourself and, naturally, your body? This is hardly possible in baggy clothes.

10. Don't smoke or abuse alcohol. Everything you eat after drinking alcohol goes into fat stores.

11. Eat only tasty, good quality food. Discover the world of healthy and delicious food. It is a myth that everything healthy is not tasty. There are many recipes for preparing delicious and healthy dishes. Experiment.

12. Don’t get carried away with sugar substitutes or low-fat foods; food should be nutritious.

13. Eat 4-6 times during the day - often and in small portions.

14. Breakfast should be protein and vitamin, if you are used to eating porridge in the morning, then it should be porridge made from whole grain cereals, cooked in water, not milk. You can also eat whole grain bread, muesli (without sweet additives - chocolate, sunflower seeds, sugar, candied fruits, coconut or honey, it is better to pour freshly squeezed juice rather than yogurt - this will be less calories).

15. Drink kefir before bed - a low-calorie drink that helps those who want to lose weight. There is even such a recommendation: drink a glass of low-fat kefir, not in one gulp, in 3-5 sips, but eat it with a teaspoon.
